Bought these shoes for a trip with a ton of walking. Got them weeks in advance in order to break them in and ensure theyre a good fit, but I think I wouldve been fine buying them the day of the trip - they were comfortable from Day 1. If I had any sort of complaint, it would be that the tongues would often slide off slightly to the side, but even then this didnt impact comfort.
